Terms of Use

Effective date: July 11, 2026

For questions about these terms, contact admin@akrient.ai.

Scope

These Terms govern access to Akrient's public website and related services unless a separate written customer agreement applies. A customer agreement controls the subscription service and prevails over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.

Eligibility and authorized use

You may use Akrient only if you are authorized by your organization or are otherwise legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for your account, for activities performed through it, and for complying with applicable laws and third-party terms.

Customer content

You retain your rights in content you submit to Akrient. You give Akrient the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, and display that content to provide, secure, and support the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide the content and authorize this use.

Acceptable use

You may not use Akrient unlawfully, to violate another person's rights, to interfere with the service, to attempt unauthorized access, to introduce malicious code, or to reverse engineer or misuse the service. You may not use the service to provide legal advice without appropriate professional review and responsibility.

Akrient property and feedback

Akrient and its licensors retain all rights in the service, website, documentation, and related technology. These Terms grant only the rights expressly stated. If you provide feedback, you grant Akrient a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate it without payment, provided we do not identify you as its source without permission.

Third-party services

Akrient may interoperate with third-party services that you choose to use. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies, and Akrient is not responsible for their independent operation or availability.

Availability and disclaimers

Akrient is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Akrient disclaims implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Akrient is software and does not replace professional legal judgment or advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Neither party's aggregate liability arising from these Terms will exceed the amounts paid or payable for the applicable service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a security, legal, or service risk, or material violation of these Terms. A customer agreement governs termination of a subscription service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means the updated Terms apply to future use.
